How the tablet
w.o.w. never alone
was developed?

The aim of our project “Walk on Water, never alone” is to allow blind people to admire colors and shapes of a work of art, perceiving them as a space where they can act. The tactile tablet, used in museums and some exhibitions, was recongnised as the safest way to obtain a positive solution considering our ideas.

WALK ON WATER NEVER ALONE

The tactile tablet has a board that emulate the surface of the lake, from which the mountains and the shape of the artwork raise as a low relief. On it there’s a short braille description: “Iseo lake – Italy 2016 The floating piers – Christo and Jeanne-Claude” fundamental to contextualize the artwork.
